Leeds councillors backed Microsoft's data centre campus at Skelton Grange in April 2026, but final sign-off is still with council officers. Nearly 1,000 people objected, and tens of thousands have signed a petition.

Write to ward councillors, the Chief Planning Officer and local MPs; the campaign group is urging this. Formal consultation on 25/06139/FU has closed, though the council portal was reported still open for comments in July 2026.
