About

Local fights, shared tools

Data centres are being proposed faster than communities can organise against them. Each local group ends up rebuilding the same petition, the same objection letter and the same press release from scratch.

Stop The Data Centre gives every proposed site a campaign page from day one: a petition, a plain guide to objecting, and links to everyone already campaigning there. Local groups can take over their page. Where a local campaign is already running a petition, we point people to theirs rather than competing with it.

The facts behind every page are researched and sourced on Data Centre Watch, run by the same people.

We're independent. We take no money from developers, energy companies or tech firms.
