7,000 objections. Falkirk, listen.
Apatura wants to build a 300MW data centre beside Glenbervie Business Park, less than 500 metres from Forth Valley Royal Hospital. More than 7,000 people have objected. Councillors still have to decide, and the council's own deadline for deciding is 4 October 2026, with no committee date set.

Why local people are worried
Object - it takes ten minutes
A formal comment to the planning authority counts for more than a petition. Say in your own words how this would affect you, and stick to planning grounds.

- Good planning grounds include: impact on the Green Belt or countryside, energy use and carbon, water supply, noise, traffic, wildlife and heritage. Developers' promises are not guarantees: ask for them to be made binding.
Representations are closed; contact Falkirk councillors and local MSPs, and ask Scottish Ministers to call in the application (APRS has asked for call-in of applications nearing decision).
