Object - it takes ten minutes

A formal comment to the planning authority counts for more than a petition. Say in your own words how this would affect you, and stick to planning grounds.

  • Quote the reference: 26/1649/PIP
  • Deadline: 29 October 2026
  • Good planning grounds include: impact on the Green Belt or countryside, energy use and carbon, water supply, noise, traffic, wildlife and heritage. Developers' promises are not guarantees: ask for them to be made binding.

Object through the Dumfries and Galloway Council planning portal by the deadline (reported 29 October 2026; confirm the date on the portal). Signing the petition is not an objection.
